2025 to 2026 Orienteering Season

We are making a change to registration this year. Our pre-registration process will remain the same - the pre-registration will end the Wednesday prior to the meet on Saturday. Pre-registration will ensure that there will be the correct course map available for you with the added bonus of a small savings also. Late registration will be on Thursday and Friday prior to the meet. On meet day, we will have registration starting at 8:00 am and ending at 9:15 am. The meets will begin at 10:00 am.

We are looking forward to the upcoming season and hope that you can join us.

This season, we will be awarding up to 5 scholarships to Texas Junior Orienteering Camp (TJOC) which is a weeklong orienteering camp that takes place in early June at Sid Richardson Boy Scout Camp near Bridgeport, TX. To be eligible to be considered for a scholarship, the candidates will need to between 13 and 19 years of age, compete in at least 3 of our 4 meets, successfully complete at least 2 orange courses and not have a negative score in a score-O meet, and be able to run 2 miles in 18 minutes for males and 22 minutes for females.

Lake Claiborne O-Meet 2025

NOTE: Registration BEGINS at 8:00 am and ENDS at 9:15 am

There will be an entrance fee to get into the park which will be collected at the meet registration. The amount is not known at this time. Historically, the state waves a portion of the entrance fee and the cost has been $1 per person who enters the park (bus drivers and instructors are charged)

Courses offered: Score-O: Solo and 2-person Team 1.5 hour time limit

Age Categories: M/F, -14, 15-16, 17-18, 19-34, 35-54, 55+ and Team (no age group)

From Minden, take Louisiana Hwy 159 north to Webster Parish Road 111. Turn left (west) on WPR 111 and go 2 miles. The recreation area entrance is signed and the fee station is just inside the entrance. Proceed to the day use area.
